All Drumdrops drum tracks are supplied with a DAW session file tempo mapped to each quarter beat so your sequences, slaved applications and external MIDI sequencers follow the live drummer. This allows you to overdub/program midi parts easily, make use of quantize and other tempo/grid features.
Note: If you are creating a new session with a DAW we don't support, simply import the included MIDI file to the session of your master sequencer followed by the separate audio and HEY PRESTO! Your sequences follow the tempo fluctuations of the live drums!

Note: MIDI tempo map files are included for easy synchronisation of MIDI sequencers and external drum machines via MIDI Clock: Simply import the MIDI file to the session of your master sequencer and HEY PRESTO! Your sequences follow the tempo fluctuations of the live drums!

Most of the drumdrops files are large. The speeds are going to be a lot lot slower than downloading am MP3. An MP3 maybe 2 or 3 meg in size one of our multi-tracks can be up to 800 meg which is almost a gigabyte. It is similar to downloading half a movie. The speed can fluctuate depending on your internet connection, location, computer and even the time of day. In peak periods it will be slower. If you download large files a lot and feel our download speeds are a lot slower than other companies please email us at support@drumdrops.com as we want to ensure our customers have a great downloading experience.
We shall be adding an additional mail order service soon.
Once purchased from the Drumdrops site we allow you to download the files again. Just login to your account and all your purchases will be there.
