Disco Drum Loops

Drumdrops is the leading provider of high quality live disco drum loops on the web. You can now download disco beats from our constantly expanding and varied catalogue, all of which has been recorded and mixed on 1970s consoles using analogue 2" tape machines, vintage microphones and outboard to fully capture the classic sounds from the era of disco and funk greatness.

Using some of the most respected drummers in the genre, our collection of disco drum samples has been recorded in a number of leading studios around the world, including the now defunct but legendary Hollywood Sound Recorders in Los Angeles and London's Olympic Studios. Our expert drum recording engineers have not only used some of the most sought after vintage gear, such as 1970s Neve Consoles and Studer A80 tape machines, but have also used an extensive choice of the best drums and cymbals, including vintage Ludwig and Gretsch kits, and a combination of snares by Ludwig, Rogers and Slingerland.

Drumdrops customers can purchase disco loop packs of countless tracks ranging from Latin Funk Disco Grooves to Low Rider Party Beats direct from the Drumdrops site. All you need to do is search by genre and bring up all the disco tracks. Preview them online and if they have a loops pack available, purchase and download. It could not be easier. In each disco drum loop pack there are usually about eight or nine loops taken from each live drum track. We usually edit them down into 2 bar or 4 bar disco drum loops. Each loop will then be provided mixed in different groups - full kit, drums, kick and snare. We provide all of the loops in three different formats - apple loops, Rex files and WAVs. This makes them compatible with anything that can import audio.

The disco drum loops can be found on a variety of our albums. The main one is the critically acclaimed Disco Drops but you can also find a few disco beats included on 70s Funk Drops and Fistful of Drummers. In total we have about 30 brilliantly recorded disco drum tracks ranging between 106-137 BPM. Masterminded by producer/engineer Mike Pelanconi, and featuring drummers such as Nasser Bouzida (Big Boss Band). Disco Drops can be purchased as an album giving you an extra discount of 20% off the individual drum track prices. This will give you 450 live disco drum loops in one purchase.

You can explore and download from our huge range of disco beats: Early Disco, Miami Disco, Driving Disco Club Classics, Afro Disco and late 70s “LA” P-Funk disco grooves. Try out a handful of Four to the Floor “Sugar Hill Gang” Disco Party Grooves, P-Funk and Hip Hop grooves with a disco feel, or some Hard 80s Disco Beats.

Various drummers and engineers have worked on the different albums to combine countless different components to every individual track, meaning you should be able to find the exact type of groove you are looking to use. There are combinations of fat and short snares; open, smooth and accented hats; tom fills and breakdowns; and additional percussion such as congas, tambourines and funky cowbells.
