The Drumdrops in Dub series was produced by Mike Pelanconi and performed by two of the most respected drummers in the genre, Horseman and Style Scott who between them have performed with the good and the great of reggae; Roots Radics, Prince Jammy, Dub Syndicate, Scientist, John Holt, Max Romeo, Big Youth, Prince Fatty and Mad Professor. Recorded and mixed in leading Jamaican and UK studios, Mike has used only the best vintage analogue gear: Neve consoles, Studer A80 and Ampex tape machines, Orban and Grampian spring reverbs and vintage drum kits from Ludwig, Rogers and Sonor.

These professionally tempo-mapped performances can be purchased as reggae drum multitracks, mixed drum stems and drum loop packs. The tempos range from 65-146 bpm and cover numerous styles - one drop, two drop, steppers, heavy dub, 80s reggae, rocksteady patterns and Studio One classic grooves - drawing on influences such as Joe Gibbs, Channel One, King Tubby and other 70s dub reggae legends. The multi-tracks feature separate kicks, snares and rimshots, hats, toms, and percussion including timbale, tambourines and shakers.

Drumdrops in Dub Vol 1 features 24 classic reggae drum tracks performed by Style Scott (Roots Radics, Scientist, Prince Jammy), famed for his fat snares and ripping timbale. Capture that classic 70s Jamaican sound with spring reverb and echo...

Volume 2 is recorded through vintage Neve consoles and using only authentic valve equipment including vintage Grampian and Orban spring reverbs.

Drumdrops in Dub Vol 3 pt 1 & 2 features Studio One classics, one drop, two drop and rocksteady patterns ranging from 65-81 bpm. Two downbeat collections of classic reggae dub grooves performed by Horseman.
